Description:

Constructor is seeking a passionate and skilled backend engineer to join the Searchandizing team.
The role involves creating and maintaining tools for merchandisers of global e-commerce brands to manage their product discovery experience.
Responsibilities include delivering features for the Searchandizing dashboard and improving its usability.
The engineer will enhance the product discovery experience for shoppers worldwide.
A key aspect of the role is to improve the onboarding process for new merchandisers, making it faster and easier to use the Constructor platform.

Requirements:

Candidates must have hands-on experience with Python.
Strong hands-on experience with backend development is required.
Experience with devops tools such as AWS-ECS and Cloud Watch is necessary.
Candidates should have experience launching and operating backend systems.
Hands-on experience with Flask or similar web frameworks for building APIs is a plus.
Experience with automated testing practices is required.
Willingness to work with the frontend codebase in React and Typescript is expected.
Candidates must produce high-quality code and test their own changes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
A proactive and results-oriented mindset is required.
Experience working in remote environments is a plus.

The compensation includes a base range of 90-110k USD, stock options, and a work from home bonus.
