Akash Network is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their remote team in the U.S. time zone.
The company is developing the world’s first decentralized cloud computing marketplace, allowing data centers to become cloud providers.
The role involves developing frontend and backend features for the Akash Console, which is the primary deployment console for customers.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining public APIs and SDKs for partners, working on automated tests, and CI/CD automation.
The engineer will interface with customers looking to integrate with Akash and participate in technical discussions on community forums like Discord and GitHub.
The position also requires identifying areas for improvement regarding issues, bugs, and process enhancements.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of relevant work experience.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience with Javascript, Typescript, React, and Next.js is required.
Applicants should have 5+ years of experience with Postgres or similar SQL databases, with expert-level SQL query development skills.
Experience with common cloud services and databases is necessary.
Candidates should have experience setting up and working with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub actions and Docker/Containers/Microservices.
Experience working with Open Source tooling and contributing to open source software is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
A passion for automation and coding best practices is expected.
The ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate a sense of ownership is crucial.
