Remote Full Stack Growth Software Engineer

Description:

• As a Full Stack Growth Software Engineer at LawnStarter, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the product and building quality software at scale.
• You will build reliable, observable, resilient, and scalable code to optimize user acquisition, engagement, and retention through data-driven experimentation and technical solutions.
• Your role will involve building rich experiences, backend services, APIs, and infrastructure as code to ensure the code performs as intended and enhances user experience.
• You will collaborate with Product Management and Product Design teams to decide on features efficiently and release new software daily.
• Mentoring junior developers and inspiring them as they gain knowledge and experience will be part of your responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Experienced full-stack web software engineer with at least 3 years of experience working on server- and client-side web software.
• Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts and technical SEO best practices to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
• Experience in developing and implementing strategies to improve conversion rates at each stage of the funnel.
• Familiarity with SQL and databases, including non-relational databases and modern cloud database solutions.
• Proficiency in PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript (React, React Native, and Vue) is preferred, but a background in any mainstream object-oriented language is acceptable.
