Description:
- As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Instructure, you will be part of a diverse and innovative team focused on developing SaaS services for digital learning and credentialing.
- You will be working in an Agile and DevOps environment, utilizing technologies such as Java, Spring, React, GraphQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, Postgres, and AWS cloud technologies.
- Responsibilities include taking ownership of technical aspects, translating business needs into technical strategies, mentoring team members, setting coding standards, and delivering high-quality, secure code.
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, agile coaches, and product owners to deliver value and drive technical direction across the stack.
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of industry experience in enterprise-level software development.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented concepts, design patterns, coding standards, and performance improvements.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot RESTful APIs, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, SQL, JPA/Hibernate, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Familiarity with Git, Maven, IntelliJ, or VSCode, and experience in Agile, Lean, and DevOps environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, leadership abilities, and communication skills.
