Remote Full Stack Software Engineer

Description:

• Shopmonkey is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team remotely in Texas.
• The role involves developing and deploying production quality code in JavaScript/Typescript, Node.js, and React + Redux.
• The engineer will work on improving code quality and performance, participate in architectural discussions, and test software for responsiveness and efficiency.
• Responsibilities include mentoring less experienced engineers, participating in technical interviews, and collaborating with product and design teams.
• Bonus points for prior experience at high-growth startups and familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, and Apache Kafka.
• The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $165,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Requirements:

• Must have experience developing and deploying production quality code in JavaScript/Typescript, Node.js, React + Redux.
• Familiarity with relational and noSQL databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis is required.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies, particularly agile, is necessary.
• Ability to write performant and optimized code for SaaS products is essential.
• Should have conducted code reviews and provided constructive feedback.
• Prior experience collaborating with engineers, product, and design teams is a must.
