Remote Full-Stack Software Engineer

Description:

• As a full-stack Software Engineer at Awin, you will be part of a cross-functional team working on extending and maintaining the Affiliate Marketing platform.
• Responsibilities include writing clean, secure, and well-tested code, collaborating with the team, and enhancing assigned parts of the platform.
• You will have a significant impact on efficiency, problem-solving, and mentoring colleagues.
• Working closely with the product owner and team members to translate user needs into technical solutions is a key aspect of the role.
• You will play a leading role throughout the lifecycle of a service or product, from requirements to deployment, support, and maintenance.
• Your contribution will be vital in overcoming challenges and ensuring the service meets business and customer needs.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial Software Engineering roles.
• Positive and collaborative work ethic.
• Eagerness to learn and work with multiple programming languages.
• Proven track record with OOP using Java.
• Experience with web technologies, modern frontend frameworks, and a passion for writing elegant code.
• Ability to conduct thorough code reviews, write unit tests, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of relational database concepts, database design principles, and proficiency in SQL.
• Successful collaboration within a cross-functional engineering team.
• Exposure to agile processes, particularly Scrum.
• Open to remote pair programming.
