Remote Full Stack Software Engineer - Java/Angular

Description:

• The Full Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for the development of technical solutions, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of code.
• This role involves analyzing and interpreting business requirements to create efficient and effective technical solutions.
• The engineer will analyze and develop new code, verify code with integration and unit tests, and identify logic errors while implementing bug fixes and supporting user testing.
• Responsibilities include building and executing automation tests, analyzing business requirements, and providing third-level application support.
• Participation in application design sessions and consultation with business areas, technical support, team members, technical sources, and end-users is required.
• The engineer must ensure high quality of development and solutions prior to product release and assist with product releases.
• Performing code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers is expected.
• The role includes contributing to manual quality assurance testing as needed and producing working code with less supervision on relatively routine development tasks.
• The engineer should demonstrate good instincts in solving technical problems and stay passionate about learning new technologies and adopting best practices of software development.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 12+, SQL, Java, Springboot, Hibernate, Git, and AWS at an intermediate to senior level.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field with exposure to building web applications using the noted technologies.
• Experience in building applications that integrate with AWS services and developing RESTful API services using Java is required.
• Candidates should have experience implementing responsive design using Angular 15+, unit testing in Angular and Java, and monitoring error logs to address repeatable bugs.
• Additional desired experience includes financial accounting, new versions of Angular (Version 12+), authentication and authorization (Web, API), and writing web services and APIs.
• Experience using AWS services such as SQS, SNS, Cloudformation, and S3 is preferred for intermediate to senior candidates.
