Remote Fullstack Developer Senior Ruby on Rails / React

Description:

• We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer specialized in Ruby on Rails and React to join our team.
• The ideal candidate must have experience working with microservices and be able to collaborate in a fast-growing environment, utilizing best development practices.
• In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient web applications, both on the frontend and backend.

• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails for the backend and React for the frontend.
• You will implement and work with microservices-based architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Ensure code quality by following best programming practices such as TDD, SOLID, and CI/CD.
• Actively participate in planning, estimation, and retrospective meetings using agile methodologies like Scrum.
• Maintain smooth communication with the team and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in fullstack development with Ruby on Rails and React is required.
• Experience working with microservices is essential.
• Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL is necessary.
• Solid knowledge of tools like Git, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP is required.
• Effective communication skills and experience collaborating in distributed teams are important.
• The ability to adequately document code and technical processes is necessary.
• Experience working with Node.js is required.
• Desirable (optional): Knowledge in candidate selection and evaluation companies or previous experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
