Remote Fullstack Engineer

Description:

• The role involves developing back-office systems and taking ownership of smaller technical projects, managing all aspects of development from hosting to logging.
• Responsibilities include engaging with designers and product managers, developing and maintaining Fullstack applications using React and Node.js, implementing Web3 applications, writing clean code in TypeScript, and integrating with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• The engineer will also troubleshoot software, monitor application performance, and document changes.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and newer specifications of EcmaScript is required.
• A thorough understanding of React and its core principles, tooling, and frameworks is necessary.
• Proficiency in building and querying SQL databases is essential.
• Familiarity with functional programming (e.g., ramda, true-myth) is preferred.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or WebSockets is required.
• Understanding of building applications with wallet integration and APIs that interface with blockchain nodes is necessary.
• Knowledge of modern authentication mechanisms, such as JWT or OAuth, is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in teams are essential.
• The ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements is necessary.
• Some experience with Scala and the cats-effect ecosystem is not necessary but highly valued.
