Peek.com is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to join their Payments team in a remote-first environment.
The company has over $3 billion in bookings and offers a platform for booking experiences like wine tours and skydiving.
Peek Pro software suite includes online booking, point-of-sale, and automation tools for operators.
The engineering team balances startup pace with the needs of a mature B2B SaaS business, utilizing a modern tech stack including Elixir, Ruby, Ember.js, and Swift.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Product Management and Design, mentoring fellow engineers, taking ownership of features, advocating for customer experience, and delivering production-quality code.
The role requires strong interpersonal communication skills, organization, self-motivation, and an emphasis on self-care while managing workload.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Experience with a payments or marketplace platform is required, with at least one year on a payments-related system.
Domain knowledge of marketplaces and payment systems is essential.
Strong communication skills and solid coding practices, including peer code reviews and unit testing, are necessary.
Candidates should be well organized, self-motivated, and able to advocate for self-care while managing a high workload.
Nice to haves include experience with GraphQL, mobile technologies, Elixir/Ruby or functional languages, message queues like RabbitMQ, and relational/non-relational databases.
