Remote Fullstack Engineer - Python & Javascript/Typescript

Description:

• Puzzle is seeking a Fullstack Engineer proficient in Python and Javascript/Typescript to join their team.
• The role is remote and full-time, aimed at experienced professionals.
• The engineer will develop innovative solutions and work on cutting-edge commercial and research AI projects for various US companies.
• Responsibilities include writing readable, reusable, and maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and developing web applications with a focus on scalability, readability, and security.
• The engineer will utilize Python and JavaScript/TypeScript for backend and frontend solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Docker will be used for containerization to ensure smooth development and deployment workflows.

Requirements:

• Candidates must write readable, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Participation in code reviews to ensure adherence to code quality standards is required.
• Proficiency in Python and Javascript/Typescript is essential, with a focus on clear and well-organized code.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a full stack engineer is necessary.
• Demonstrable experience in developing web applications using modular development and scalable architectures is required, with a strong focus on code readability and security.
• Proficiency with the syntax and conventions of Python and JavaScript/TypeScript is mandatory.
• Extensive experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and Python is required.
• A solid understanding of JavaScript ES6 and either Node.js, React, or Nest JS is necessary.
• Prior experience in software Quality Assurance, Test Planning, and test-driven development is a plus.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills are required.
• Mandatory knowledge of Docker is required.
• Experience with LLMs, including prompting in ChatGPT and other LLMs, is a nice-to-have.
