Description:

  • Wellhub is a corporate wellness platform that connects employees to various partners for fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep.
  • The company is headquartered in NYC and has a global team in 11 countries.
  • The Fullstack Tech Lead will join the Partner Expansion team in Portugal, responsible for building and maintaining the acquisition and onboarding of new partners to the Wellhub ecosystem.
  • The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining features with a focus on performance, scalability, and stability.
  • The Tech Lead will provide technical expertise in architecture and design processes, tackle complex technical challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Solutions will be built using Front-End (React with Typescript), Back-End (Spring with Kotlin), and Salesforce (Apex, LWC, and Aura).
  • The position requires identifying and addressing technical debt and managing the engineering backlog proactively.
  • The Tech Lead will develop new solutions and features to meet business needs, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • The role involves working in an agile development environment, rapidly prototyping, and iterating on solutions.
  • Collaboration with the Director of Software Engineering and the Product Manager is essential to evaluate task feasibility and propose technical solutions.
  • The Tech Lead will mentor a team of developers in Brazil and Portugal, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading a software engineering team is required.
  • Candidates must have experience working as a full stack engineer, with both front-end and back-end stacks being mandatory; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • The ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment with engineers, product managers, and designers is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, with the ability to articulate technical ideas clearly in English.
  • Experience in Agile environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is required, along with a demonstrated understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • A passion for new technologies and a proven track record of analyzing and solving complex technical problems is expected.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach is necessary, with the ability to think creatively and take ownership of projects.
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives from inception to release, identifying and resolving roadblocks, and mentoring team members to deliver high-quality results is required.
