Description:

Develop and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript across the stack.
Build robust, responsive, and user-friendly front-end interfaces and efficient back-end systems.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to TDD practices.
Collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in sprints, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Ensure code quality through peer reviews and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.

Requirements:

Proficiency in TypeScript: Deep understanding of TypeScript and JavaScript, including modern ES6+ features.
Front-end Development: Experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Back-end Development: Familiarity with Node.js and frameworks such as Express or NestJS.
Test-Driven Development (TDD): Expertise in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
Agile Practices: Experience working in Agile teams and using tools like Jira or Trello.
Database Knowledge: Proficiency with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
Version Control: Proficient in Git workflows and version control best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset.
Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, knowledge of containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, exposure to GraphQL or REST API development, and understanding of performance optimisation techniques for both client and server-side applications.
