Remote GoLang Engineer

Description:

• As a GoLang Engineer, you will be working on cutting-edge projects in the Web3 space, focusing on blockchain technology.
• Your responsibilities will include implementing, maintaining, and operating blockchain systems within an agile team of experienced software engineers.
• You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of systems by identifying and resolving issues, defining requirements, designing high-quality code, conducting code reviews, and implementing unit tests.
• The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to software development.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• 2-3 years of development experience in Go is essential.
• Proficiency in tooling related to Go, such as build systems, package managers, unit testing, and CI pipelines, is necessary.
• Experience with agile processes, code review, working in a team environment, Git/GitHub, and troubleshooting outages in blockchain networks is required.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are crucial.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills is a must.
• Nice to have: experience with cryptography or security, understanding of compilers and virtual machines, previous work with go-ethereum (geth), and basic knowledge of blockchains and Ethereum.
