Description:

InductiveHealth is seeking an HL7 Data Integration Engineer to work remotely, contributing to the mission of stopping disease through technology.
The role involves analyzing client IT environments and messaging capabilities while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities include identifying and implementing technical solutions to meet data exchange requirements and providing technical assistance to public health laboratories and healthcare organizations.
Collaboration with project team members and effective task management using collaboration tools is essential.
The position requires being on call on rotation with the rest of the team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of relevant job experience as an HL7 Data Integration Engineer.
A bachelor’s degree in IT information systems, engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
Certification or strong background with Rhapsody and/or Mirth is mandatory, with other integration engine experience considered a plus.
Experience in analyzing client IT environments and messaging capabilities to implement data interfaces using Rhapsody or Mirth is necessary.
Proficiency in Xpath, xquery, JavaScript, and other scripting languages is required.
Familiarity with data transport protocols such as SFTP, PHINMS, and S3 is essential.
Knowledge of HL7 standards, specifically v2.x (including order, result, and ADT messages), is required.
Excellent client relations, presentation, organizational, writing, and communication skills are necessary.
Candidates should be self-directed, highly organized, and self-motivated, with a commitment to quality customer service.
The ability to communicate effectively with individuals from varying technical backgrounds is essential.
