Description:

• Udacity is seeking independent contractors to serve as mentors for Data Analysts, specifically those proficient in both English and German.
• Mentors will provide world-class technical support to students in their academic journeys, ensuring a high standard of education.
• Responsibilities include reviewing project submissions, providing personalized feedback, and ensuring originality in student work.
• Mentors must maintain a review time of less than 8 working hours for project submissions.
• Additionally, mentors will respond to technical queries from students, maintaining a response time of less than 1 working hour.
• Mentors are expected to have a student-first mindset, empathy for learners, and flexibility for part-time, independent contract work.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be proficient in both English and German, with strong writing and speaking skills.
• Technical competence is required, including proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is necessary.
• Familiarity with statistical techniques, data modeling, and machine learning concepts is essential.
• Understanding of databases, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.) is required.
