Description:
Udacity is seeking independent contractors to serve as mentors for Data Analysts, specifically fluent in English and Japanese.
Mentors will provide world-class technical support to students in their academic journeys.
Responsibilities include reviewing project submissions and providing personalized feedback, ensuring originality, and maintaining a review time of less than 8 working hours.
Mentors will also respond to technical queries from students, maintaining a response time of less than 1 working hour.
The role requires a student-first mindset, empathy for learners, and flexibility for part-time work.
There are 15-20 open positions available.
Requirements:
Candidates must be fluent in both English and Japanese, with strong writing and speaking skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel is required.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is necessary.
Familiarity with statistical techniques, data modeling, and machine learning concepts is essential.
Understanding of databases, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is required.
A student-first mindset and empathy for learners are crucial.
Flexibility for part-time, independent contract work is necessary.
