Remote Intermediate Fullstack Engineer, Fulfillment: Provision

Description:

• The Intermediate Fullstack Engineer position at GitLab is for the Provision Team, responsible for the license delivery process to customers.
• The role involves working on the customers.gitlab.com application to integrate data from sales systems to produce licenses and grants for GitLab.com, GitLab Dedicated instances, and self-managed instances of GitLab.
• As a Fullstack Engineer on the Provision team, you will help build web interfaces and services connecting instances, groups, and users to customer subscriptions.
• Responsibilities include developing solutions for secure, scalable, and performant delivery of licenses, triaging errors impacting license generation, building customer-facing interfaces, and collaborating with stakeholders for quality solutions.
• Projects may include license management for Agile Planning Seats and improving the Ultimate Trial experience.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and production experience with JavaScript.
• Experience with Vue.js (ideal), React, Svelte, and/or Angular.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS systems in production environments.
• Strong curiosity to understand systems holistically and streamline processes.
• Ability to communicate complex technical problems and propose solutions effectively.
• Proficiency in English for success in a remote work environment.
• Alignment with GitLab's values and experience with subscription management or billing systems are a plus.
