Description:
GitLab is seeking an Intermediate Security Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join their Security Identity Engineering team.
The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based corporate IAM systems.
Responsibilities include administering SaaS applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and 1Password.
The engineer will build automations using a mix of code, low-code, and infrastructure-as-code.
The position requires monitoring and auditing access periodically for compliance purposes.
The engineer will troubleshoot technical issues as an escalation point and stay updated on emerging trends, threats, and technologies in the IAM space.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with user lifecycle management.
Experience with Okta administration is required.
Candidates should have experience integrating services with Slack.
Familiarity with using iPaaS technologies such as Okta Workflows, Workato, and Tines is necessary.
An interest in working with REST APIs to develop event-driven automation is expected.
Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
