Remote Intermediate Security Engineer, IAM

Description:

• GitLab is seeking an Intermediate Security Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join their Security Identity Engineering team.
• The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based corporate IAM systems.
• Responsibilities include administering SaaS applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and 1Password.
• The engineer will build automations using a mix of code, low-code, and infrastructure-as-code.
• The position requires monitoring and auditing access periodically for compliance purposes.
• The engineer will troubleshoot technical issues as an escalation point and stay updated on emerging trends, threats, and technologies in the IAM space.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience with user lifecycle management.
• Experience with Okta administration is required.
• Candidates should have experience integrating services with Slack.
• Familiarity with using iPaaS technologies such as Okta Workflows, Workato, and Tines is necessary.
• An interest in working with REST APIs to develop event-driven automation is expected.
• Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
