Description:
The Intermediate Security Engineer will be responsible for building and executing an efficient vulnerability management program in the FedRAMP environment for GitLab's product and service offerings.
They will manage and contribute to vulnerability management tools, collaborate cross-functionally to define and measure the patch management strategy, and provide visibility for security best practices.
The role involves creating documentation, supporting other Product Security efforts, tracking emerging threats, and ensuring data protection for GitLab and its customers.
Requirements:
Proof of U.S. citizenship and residency is required.
Ability to use GitLab and experience in cloud security, vulnerability management, asset management, and related topics are necessary.
Proficiency in development with Ruby, Go, Python, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams is essential.
Strong communication skills over text-based mediums and alignment with GitLab's values are required.
