Description:

  • The Intermediate Security Engineer will be responsible for building and executing an efficient vulnerability management program in the FedRAMP environment for GitLab's product and service offerings.
  • They will manage and contribute to vulnerability management tools, collaborate cross-functionally to define and measure the patch management strategy, and provide visibility for security best practices.
  • The role involves creating documentation, supporting other Product Security efforts, tracking emerging threats, and ensuring data protection for GitLab and its customers.

Requirements:

  • Proof of U.S. citizenship and residency is required.
  • Ability to use GitLab and experience in cloud security, vulnerability management, asset management, and related topics are necessary.
  • Proficiency in development with Ruby, Go, Python, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams is essential.
  • Strong communication skills over text-based mediums and alignment with GitLab's values are required.
