Description:
The Intermediate Security Engineer will be part of the GitLab Vulnerability Management team responsible for executing an efficient vulnerability management program in the FedRAMP environment.
Responsibilities include managing and contributing to vulnerability management tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining patch management strategies, and ensuring security best practices for cloud environments and GitLab products.
The role involves creating documentation, supporting other Product Security efforts, tracking emerging threats, and safeguarding GitLab and customer data.
Requirements:
Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship and residency.
Proficiency in using GitLab.
Demonstrated experience in cloud security, vulnerability management, asset management, and related topics.
Development experience with Ruby, Go, Python.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proficient in communicating over text-based mediums and documenting technical details.
