Description:

  • The Intermediate Security Engineer will be part of the GitLab Vulnerability Management team responsible for executing an efficient vulnerability management program in the FedRAMP environment.
  • Responsibilities include managing and contributing to vulnerability management tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining patch management strategies, and ensuring security best practices for cloud environments and GitLab products.
  • The role involves creating documentation, supporting other Product Security efforts, tracking emerging threats, and safeguarding GitLab and customer data.

Requirements:

  • Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship and residency.
  • Proficiency in using GitLab.
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud security, vulnerability management, asset management, and related topics.
  • Development experience with Ruby, Go, Python.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in communicating over text-based mediums and documenting technical details.
  • Alignment with GitLab's values.
