The Rider team is crucial to Lime’s business, focusing on enhancing the core riding experience, including signup, onboarding, trip flow, pricing, and subscriptions.
The role involves identifying and solving essential consumer-facing rider problems, architecting scalable product platforms, and leading new product initiatives.
The position requires scrutiny of technology and architecture choices, often making key decisions.
Collaboration with PMs, Engineers, Design, Data Scientists, Research, and Operations teams is essential.
Mentoring and supporting other engineers on the team, while identifying and developing future leaders, is a key responsibility.
Advising Lime’s leadership on technology adoption and process improvements is also part of the role.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of building impactful products or systems is required.
A customer-obsessed mindset, prioritizing customer needs, is essential.
Strong data insight and a data-driven approach to decision-making are necessary.
An owner’s mindset is important; candidates should be self-starters who can drive projects to completion.

At least 1 year of experience coding in Ruby on Rails is preferred.
