The Rider team is crucial to Lime’s business, responsible for enhancing the core riding experience, including signup, onboarding, trip flow, pricing, and subscriptions.
The role involves identifying and solving essential consumer-facing rider problems, architecting scalable product platforms, and leading new product initiatives.
The individual will collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, Engineers, Design, Data Scientists, Research, and Operations teams.
Mentorship and support for other engineers on the team is expected, along with advising Lime’s leadership on technology adoption and process improvements.
The position requires the individual to reside in Canada.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of building impactful products or systems is required.
A customer-obsessed mindset, prioritizing customer needs in all decisions.
Strong data insight and a data-driven approach to decision-making are essential.
An owner’s mindset is necessary, demonstrating self-starting abilities and a commitment to completing tasks.
Strong collaboration skills are required, with an understanding of cross-functional strategies and stakeholder involvement in decision-making.
A passion for Lime's mission and micromobility, with a desire to contribute to transforming cities into people-centric and less polluted environments.
An outcomes-oriented focus, with a history of driving meaningful business results.
Strong influencing skills to motivate and empower the team, with experience in driving bar-raising activities.
Preferred experience includes at least 1 year of coding in Ruby on Rails.
