Remote Java Developer - JSP

• Involvement in deployment and operation of software (DevOps) is expected, along with delivering fair outcomes for customers while maintaining professionalism.

Requirements:

• Basic qualifications include strong Java development experience (6+ years) and experience with AWS cloud environment (2+ years).
• Candidates must have strong experience in J2EE and previous experience with JSP.
• Strong object-oriented design skills, knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices are required.
• Experience working directly with clients and project stakeholders to define and refine requirements is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience using and/or configuring CI/CD pipelines and building scalable software services (e.g., serverless, microservices).
• Strong English skills (written and verbal) are essential.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with Javascript/Typescript and TDD.
• The position is open to anyone located in Canada, but relocation support is not provided.
