Description:

  • Stack Builders is an international software development consultancy seeking a talented Java Developer with experience in Front End technologies, specifically TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • The role involves working on an innovative mobile application designed to deliver real-time sports metrics to spectators.

  • Responsibilities include refactoring components, collaborating with stakeholders, implementing reusable AEM templates, integrating third-party services, and executing tests to ensure application performance.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must reside in the US, Canada, Colombia, or Ireland.
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the development industry is required.
  • Experience with Java 11+ and tools like Checkstyle, SonarQube Java, Jacoco, and Gradle is necessary.
  • Strong Java/J2EE/HTL experience with an advanced understanding of Sling is required.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and Webpack is essential.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frontend frameworks, particularly React, is needed.
  • Candidates must have experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs using best software practices.
  • Practical experience with Test Driven Development, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, is required.
  • A solid understanding of systems architecture and structuring large-scale applications is necessary.
  • Candidates must be available to overlap at least 4 hours with US PDT working hours.
  • US candidates must be able to work as a contractor under their own LLC, C-Corp, or S-Corp.
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required for direct communication with clients and team members.
  • Nice to haves include 3+ years of web content management system experience, particularly with Adobe Experience Manager, and familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Maven projects, and various testing frameworks.
