Description:

• Propio Language Services is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join their dynamic Translation team.
• The developer will play a pivotal role in shaping the development of software products and driving innovation.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining both frontend and backend components of web applications.
• The role involves implementing and integrating APIs, microservices, and third-party services.
• The developer will write efficient and scalable code using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, and Express.js.
• The position requires designing and optimizing databases using SQL (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) technologies.
• Creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces is a key responsibility.
• The developer will conduct unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Utilizing processes and tools that support DevOps pipelines on cloud platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure is essential.
• The role involves utilizing Agile development methodologies, participating in sprint planning, and contributing to writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is required.
• Strong backend development skills using Node.js, Express.js, and knowledge of RESTful APIs are necessary.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure, including deployment and management of cloud-based applications, is essential.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, including database design, optimization, and maintenance, is required.
• The ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards, is expected.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Jasmine) and test-driven development (TDD) principles is necessary.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a passion for learning, and a proactive attitude towards challenges are essential.

• Candidates must be able to work 8am - 5pm EST hours in the US-based time zone.
