Description:
The Junior Experience Technology Engineer (Front End) will be responsible for coding activities to implement features and resolve technical issues.
They will follow coding standards, processes, and controls for the project code base.
Writing unit tests according to project guidelines, such as TDD, will be part of their responsibilities.
The engineer will conduct code and pull request reviews to ensure quality and provide feedback and mentorship to junior team members.
They will troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and participate in mitigation activities.
Understanding modern frameworks or platforms, implementing components or features, and following design patterns for the project are essential.
The engineer will have awareness of application performance, including network, lifecycle, and rendering aspects.
They should be proficient in tools and techniques to implement visual design faithfully, including fonts, animations, and transitions.
Knowledge of accessibility requirements, tools, and practices is required.
Reviewing and understanding the overall architecture and properly designing component presentation and behavior based on story definitions and business requirements are key responsibilities.
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience is required.
0 to 2 years of experience working with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is necessary.
Experience dealing with cross-browser and responsive development is essential.
Familiarity with at least one popular JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc) is required.
Knowledge or experience working with CMSs is necessary.
Knowledge or experience with AEM is a plus.
