The Lead Back End Engineer will lead a backend team, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of high-quality code.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing robust backend solutions, collaborating with front-end developers and stakeholders, overseeing AWS service integration, maintaining legacy systems, optimizing database performance, and practicing test-driven development.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, C#, and Rust is required.
Experience in developing RESTful endpoints and working with Lambda functions or similar technologies is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with cloud deployment and an understanding of cloud security features.
Expertise in Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL is essential.
Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines (e.g., Snowflake/DBT, DataBricks/Spark) is required.
Understanding of messaging queues and their role in software architecture is necessary.
Experience practicing test-driven development (TDD) is required.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field is mandatory, with an advanced degree being a plus.
