Description:

Ondo Finance is seeking a Lead Blockchain Engineer to architect a secure, scalable platform for decentralized applications, particularly focusing on Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization.
The role involves leading platform development, overseeing infrastructure, optimization, and upgrades, as well as driving smart contract and protocol development.
The engineer will serve as a technical leader for protocol projects, guiding the engineering team to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions while making sound technical decisions that align with long-term goals.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in web3 is necessary, with prior experience from a layer one blockchain or DeFi protocol strongly preferred.
Proven results in building and scaling blockchain platforms are essential.
Experience with smart contract development, blockchain protocols, and blockchain virtual machines is required.
Strong expertise with the Cosmos SDK and ecosystem tools is necessary.
Candidates should have strong expertise with Byzantine Fault Tolerant consensus protocols, such as Tendermint.
A proven track record as a tech lead with experience in planning and leading large projects with long-term impact is required.
Strong technical grasp and excellent judgment on task prioritization are essential.
Candidates must emphasize understanding the “why” behind requirements and be committed to defining the “minimum scope”.

Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
