Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Blockchain Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in multi-chain environments.
You will ensure smooth and efficient integrations and operations across Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Smart contract execution environments.
You will have experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
A deep understanding of different blockchains, protocol-specific integration challenges, and smart contract troubleshooting and auditing is required.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security and compliance, to maintain robust and secure blockchain networks.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with development teams to design and extend Analog cross-chain Smart contracts infrastructure.
You will ensure seamless integration and deployment of blockchain updates and fixes, as well as troubleshooting network and node issues.
Providing technical support for multi-chain environments, including Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain solutions, is essential.
You will collaborate with the development team to maintain and extend blockchain networks support for Analog.
Ensuring security protocols and best practices are implemented and adhered to is crucial, especially around key management, multi-sig wallets, and private/public key cryptography.
You will proactively identify and resolve blockchain performance or security issues, including managing forks, hard forks, and upgrades.
Engaging with the community and relevant stakeholders to stay current on blockchain trends, new tools, and security issues is also part of the role.
Requirements:
Strong development experience with Smart contract execution environments (EVMs, WASM, SVM, CKB-VM) is required.
Strong experience in multi-chain environments and Layer 1/Layer 2 blockchain solutions (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon classic, Polygon zkevm, Solana, Polkadot) is necessary.
Experience using blockchain testing frameworks, such as Foundry and Hardhat, is essential.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), is required.
Expertise in smart contract troubleshooting, auditing, and issue resolution, including gas optimization and debugging, is necessary.
Knowledge of blockchain security best practices, including key management and encryption, is required.
The ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment with minimal supervision is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and performance, are necessary.
Experience with incident management and technical support, particularly in resolving blockchain-related issues, is required.
A good understanding of Cryptography, including Bitcoin’s light-clients, secp256k1, and elliptic curve cryptography, is necessary.
Hands-on development experience with the Polkadot ecosystem (Rust, Substrate) is required.
