Description:

  • Polymer Labs is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Developer Relations Advocate focused on developer relations for Polymer.
  • The ideal candidate will manage both internal and external stakeholders to ensure developers are educated about, supported on, and engaged with the Polymer network.
  • This role will represent external developers for the internal team to enable successful rollouts of Polymer.
  • Responsibilities include defining and implementing the Developer Success strategy, which encompasses education, resources, outreach, community development, and feedback.
  • The Lead DevRel Advocate will write tutorials and document case studies on various use cases of the Polymer protocol and manage the developer documentation site.
  • This position will serve as a critical channel for feedback from developers to the engineering team.
  • The advocate will act as a key intermediary between Polymer Labs' development team and the external developer ecosystem.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional internal teams is essential to align Developer Success initiatives with broader company objectives.
  • The role involves managing high-level inbound and outbound communications with the developer community and directing technical inquiries to appropriate team members.
  • Cultivating relationships with industry influencers and community leaders is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a developer relations-focused role, preferably in web3, is required.
  • The candidate must have a proven track record of developing and executing successful education campaigns.
  • Experience with Solidity and Front End development is necessary.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset are essential for this role.
  • The candidate should possess an owner-mindset with the ability to quickly learn complex concepts and lead the documentation and publication of these concepts.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in an ambiguous, distributed work environment is required.
  • A strong understanding of the interoperability market, products, and customer needs is a plus.
