Description:
Polymer Labs is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Developer Relations Advocate focused on developer relations for Polymer.
The ideal candidate will manage both internal and external stakeholders to ensure developers are educated about, supported on, and engaged with the Polymer network.
This role will represent external developers for the internal team to enable successful rollouts of Polymer.
Responsibilities include defining and implementing the Developer Success strategy, which encompasses education, resources, outreach, community development, and feedback.
The Lead DevRel Advocate will write tutorials and document case studies on various use cases of the Polymer protocol and manage the developer documentation site.
This position will serve as a critical channel for feedback from developers to the engineering team.
The advocate will act as a key intermediary between Polymer Labs' development team and the external developer ecosystem.
Collaboration with cross-functional internal teams is essential to align Developer Success initiatives with broader company objectives.
The role involves managing high-level inbound and outbound communications with the developer community and directing technical inquiries to appropriate team members.
Cultivating relationships with industry influencers and community leaders is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a developer relations-focused role, preferably in web3, is required.
The candidate must have a proven track record of developing and executing successful education campaigns.
Experience with Solidity and Front End development is necessary.
Creative problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset are essential for this role.
The candidate should possess an owner-mindset with the ability to quickly learn complex concepts and lead the documentation and publication of these concepts.
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in an ambiguous, distributed work environment is required.
A strong understanding of the interoperability market, products, and customer needs is a plus.
