Description:

• Sparta Commodities, a Swiss VC-backed scaleup, is seeking a Lead Frontend Specialist to join their full-remote Engineering organization.
• The role involves owning projects from inception to release, focusing on observability, product metrics, and maintainability.
• Responsibilities include hands-on work within a product team, mentoring engineers, reviewing code and documentation, and promoting initiatives to enhance code quality and development experience.
• The Lead Frontend Specialist will be part of the frontend guild, leading the architectural evolution of the website and reviewing proposals from other guild members.

Requirements:

• Must have 4+ years of experience in a hands-on Technical Leadership role.
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability for projects and their product metrics.
• Extensive experience with React and design systems.
• Familiarity with Jest, Mocha, or other common testing libraries.
• Strong communication skills in a remote-first company with a diverse workforce.
