Description:

This role is for a Lead Full Stack Engineer at VWO, a leading Digital Experience Optimization platform.
The position is remote and based in India, with a salary range of Rs 3500000 - Rs 5000000 (INR 35-50 LPA).
The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in full-stack development.
Responsibilities include architecting, designing, and delivering scalable full-stack features and systems end-to-end, including backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
The engineer will build AI-integrated systems using LLMs and GenAI APIs in production environments.
The role involves mentoring and leading a high-performance team of engineers, establishing best practices in architecture, testing, and DevOps.
The candidate will own performance, maintainability, and scalability across projects and ensure long-term code health.
Collaboration with Product, Design, and Data teams is essential to align on product direction and technical strategy.
The engineer will stay hands-on with code, lead architectural decisions, and contribute to critical reviews and deployments.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6–10 years of experience in full-stack development roles with a product-focused mindset.
Strong proficiency in two or more backend languages such as PHP, Node.js, Golang, Python, or Java is required.
Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript with deep knowledge of modern frameworks, preferably React or Angular, is essential.
Demonstrated experience integrating GenAI APIs (OpenAI, Langflow, custom GPT agents) in real-world applications is a must.
A strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and microservices is required.
Solid DevOps exposure, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), is necessary.
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases is required.
In-depth knowledge of browser internals, rendering optimization, and frontend performance strategies is essential.
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), code quality enforcement, and unit test coverage is required.
