Description:
- As a Lead Growth Software Engineer at LawnStarter, you will be responsible for leading technical initiatives from inception to implementation for the leading on-demand marketplace for lawn care services.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions, write quality code, and solve technical challenges to enhance user experience.
- Your role will involve leading the development of the LawnStarter platform, resolving complex problems, delegating tasks, and ensuring thorough automated testing.
- You will contribute to identifying technical debt buydown opportunities and communicating patterns and solutions effectively.
Requirements:
- Experienced full-stack engineer with proficiency in server- and client-side web software, cloud development, Test Driven Development (TDD), RESTful APIs, React, and MVC web frameworks.
- Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, technical SEO best practices, strategies to improve conversion rates, and SQL and databases.
- Ability to describe pointers, Big O notation, composition vs. inheritance, array vs. linked list vs. set, CRUD operations, indexes, and SQL joins.
