Description:
- Our client is seeking a Lead Python Engineer to join their innovative and remote-first healthcare hiring software company.
- The role involves developing and delivering enhancements to the company’s core hiring product and integrating with third-party technology partners.
- You will create high-quality solutions that drive value for end users while working in an Agile environment.
- Collaboration with engineers, Product Managers, Product Designers, and Quality Assurance professionals is essential to design, implement, and deliver on shared goals.
- The ideal candidate should be a proactive problem-solver and a strong collaborator who is transparent about progress and actively seeks feedback.
- This position is fully remote, with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM EST.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 7-10 years of development experience with Python and a deep understanding of complex data modeling.
- A passion for Test-Driven Development (TDD) and an understanding of its importance in delivering high-quality software is required.
- Proficiency in SOLID principles to prevent future issues is essential.
- Experience with AWS Serverless technologies, including AppSync, DynamoDB, Lambda, Cognito, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, and Amplify is necessary.
- Strong working knowledge of GraphQL for efficient data management is required.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD), is essential.
- A commitment to writing quality, reusable, and production-ready code is expected.
- Candidates should possess advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across teams are required.
- Candidates must be adaptable, collaborative, and open to new initiatives, demonstrating a high level of integrity.
