Description:
- Lead technical initiatives from inception to user deployment
- Drive continuous improvement and evaluate return on investment for product decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the LawnStarter platform
- Architect solutions, write quality code, and lead other engineers
- Solve technical challenges to improve user experience
- Contribute to the codebase in various areas like JavaScript, PHP, and Terraform
- Ensure timely and quality software delivery to customers
- Lead the development of the LawnStarter platform using best practices and technologies
- Resolve complex system problems and share knowledge across teams
- Delegate tasks, mentor teammates, and prioritize technical debt buy-down
- Implement automated testing and communicate technical solutions effectively
Requirements:
- Experienced full-stack engineer with server- and client-side web software background
- Familiarity with cloud development, Test Driven Development (TDD), RESTful APIs, React, XSS attacks, and MVC frameworks
- Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts like pointers, Big O notation, composition vs. inheritance, and data structures
- Proficiency in SQL and databases, including CRUD operations, indexes, and join types

- Own MacBook system for compatibility or willingness to purchase one if hired
