Description:

Shardeum is a layer 1, EVM-based, linearly scalable smart contract platform focused on low gas fees and true decentralization.
The Software Engineering team is responsible for delivering the Shardeum Mainnet and developing the smart contract platform, consensus layer, and protocol layer.
The Lead Software Engineer will provide technical structure to teams and work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic road maps for the EVM-based Smart Contracts platform.
Responsibilities include managing EVM-based projects, mentoring team members, contributing to software architecture, and ensuring performance optimization.
The tech stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, SQLite, Postgres, React, and Vue.js, with a development environment of Linux, Git, AWS, Docker, and VS Code.

Requirements:

Extensive experience designing, implementing, and maintaining an EVM-based Smart Contract platform is required.
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of high-quality code and foster an environment that promotes it.
Fluency with algorithms and data structures is essential.
The ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies is necessary.
Candidates should be able to write clean and efficient code.
Creativity to develop proof of concepts from high-level designs in ambiguous environments is desired.
Self-motivation to set priorities and methodically progress toward goals is important.
Effective communication skills to convey technical ideas to team members are required.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory.
