Wellhub is hiring a Lead Site Reliability Engineer for their Platform team located in Brazil.
The mission is to build a global, secure, recoverable, and cost-efficient infrastructure that enables engineering teams to scale their product autonomously.
The role involves building tooling and automation to minimize operational processes and create a reliable, real-time logistics platform.
Responsibilities include developing Kubernetes operators, ensuring security and compliance, improving observability and reliability, and maintaining CI/CD tools.
The position requires contact with modern technologies such as Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS, and more, with coding in Golang, Ruby, or Python.
The engineer will contribute to product documentation and participate in defining standards and best practices.

Requirements:

Proven technical experience with AWS cloud services, Kubernetes, and software engineering is mandatory.
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem is required.
Solid understanding of observability systems is necessary.
Experience with operator-managed Infrastructure as Code, preferably using crossplane or Kubernetes Operators, is essential.
Ability to write software for production environments is required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for identifying solutions to complex problems.
A collaboration and learning-driven mindset is important.
CNCF Kubernetes Certifications (e.g., CKA, CKS, or CKAD) and AWS Certifications are required.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese, both verbally and in writing, are necessary.
