SupplyHouse.com is seeking a full-time Lead UI Developer to oversee developers and integrate design with programming.
The selected individual will join the Customer Experience (CX) department and lead a team of Frontend Developers based in India.
The role involves defining application aesthetics and functionality while driving improvements to enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities include managing and mentoring frontend developers, conducting performance reviews, and providing ongoing feedback.
The Lead UI Developer will troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Backend Developers to ensure alignment between tech and design.
The position requires reviewing code and providing recommendations for improvement, working on Proof of Concepts (POCs), and setting standards to meet project timelines.
Proactive communication with stakeholders and senior leadership regarding project status is essential.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of professional frontend development experience or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience is required.
At least 2 years of experience in a frontend development leadership role is necessary.
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in Responsive Web Design and proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5+), TypeScript, and Node.js.
Experience with client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including Vue.js and ReactJS, for 6+ years is required, with a preference for ReactJS experience.
Candidates should have 6+ years of experience in Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and a deep understanding of RESTful services/APIs and asynchronous programming.
Experience with JS Frontend unit/integration testing and client-side monitoring tools, state management libraries, and object storage services is necessary.
Candidates must be skilled in translating prototypes and designs into clean, valid markup and have a deep understanding of cross-browser compatibility.
Knowledge of CSS pre-processing frameworks and CMS systems is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
