Description:

RYZ Labs is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join one of their client's teams.
This is a remote position available only for professionals based in Argentina or Uruguay, with a work schedule aligned to the EST time zone.
The role involves developing and deploying machine learning models and pipelines for various classification projects.
Key responsibilities include developing efficient, clean, and maintainable Python code for machine learning pipelines, collaborating on code reviews, and contributing to MLOps infrastructure.
The engineer will take ownership of projects by gathering requirements, creating technical design documentation, and executing tasks with key performance indicators in mind.
Responsibilities also include optimizing machine learning models for performance and scalability, integrating models into production systems using frameworks like SageMaker, and staying updated with advancements in machine learning and MLOps.
The role requires assisting in improving data management, model tracking, and experimentation solutions, as well as enhancing code quality and repository structure.
The engineer will help identify best practices for ML services deployment and monitoring, establish CI/CD pipelines, and address technical debt items.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or a related role.
Strong proficiency in Python programming is required.
Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, including services like SageMaker, S3, and Secrets Manager, is essential.
Candidates should have experience with data processing, cleaning, and feature engineering for both structured and unstructured data.
Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and documentation, is required.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills are necessary.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities are essential.
Candidates must be able to work independently and take ownership of projects.
