The Data team at Found is a full stack organization responsible for researching, training, and deploying machine learning models to detect and stop fraud in real time.
The team also uses data to inform product development and strategic direction.
The new Machine Learning Engineer will partner with the risk team to develop models for identifying risky activities and improving user quality.
Daily responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating complex concepts, researching techniques for data parsing, contributing to best practices, and mentoring team members.
The team has accomplished significant improvements in model deployment and transaction monitoring.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning.
Expertise in Python/R and SQL is required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with cross-functional teams.
A proven track record of developing and deploying successful machine learning models in a production environment is necessary.
Previous experience in the fintech space, building ML-based lead scoring models, startup experience, and knowledge of bookkeeping or taxes related to self-employment are preferred but not mandatory.

Found offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $209,000, with individual pay determined by skills, experience, and education.
