Remote Machine Learning Engineer: Personalization (Remote)

Description:

• The Machine Learning Engineer will be part of the Personalization team within the Machine Learning Chapter at Constructor, focusing on implementing algorithms to optimize for business KPIs like revenue and conversions.
• The role involves collaborating with other engineers to develop and improve ML-based personalization signals for the product discovery platform.
• Responsibilities include creating user segments, defining user scenarios for personalization, and analyzing data patterns to validate hypotheses.
• The Engineer will participate in strategic planning sessions to enhance personalization and collaborate with business partners to develop analytical dashboards.
• The position involves working on Search, Browse, Autocomplete, and Recommendation experiences to enhance product ranking.

Requirements:

• Comprehensive understanding of classical machine learning techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, at least one ML/DL framework, SQL, and big data stack like Spark.
• Experience delivering production ML systems and conducting A/B tests.
• Ability to set hypotheses on data patterns and analyze data to validate them.
• Continuous learning and keeping track of advancements in AI and ML.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of NLP, especially transformer-based approaches, and experience in Personalization algorithms for ranking systems.
• Soft skills include excellent English communication, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for experimenting and using customer feedback for decision-making.
• Nice to have: Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
