Gympass is seeking a Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer for their Retention team in Brazil.
The Retention team's mission is to reduce churn by recommending partners and apps, assisting users with their plans, and showcasing Gympass's value.
The role involves participating in architectural decisions, suggesting improvements, and ensuring design documentation is up to date.
Responsibilities include collaborating with product teams, owning key features, and contributing to architectural decisions.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
Experience with microservices, distributed systems, Node.js, and RESTful APIs written in NestJS.
Proficiency in asynchronous processing, data pipelines, event-driven architectures, and serverless architectures.
Familiarity with monitoring, observability, KPI tracking, software quality, test automation, cloud computing (AWS), and Cloud Native (K8s).
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL technologies like PostgreSQL and Redis.
Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese.
