The Mid-level Backend Software Engineer will join the Search & Discovery team in Brazil, focusing on exploration and discovery services for Wellhub’s end-users.

Requirements:
A B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience is required.
Candidates must have experience developing complex modern web services.
Proficiency in computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithm design, and problem-solving is necessary.
Experience with at least two programming languages, including Java, Python, or Go, is required.
Candidates should have a background in building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized application deployments is essential.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies, such as PostgreSQL, Redis, or Elasticsearch, is required.
Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English and Portuguese are necessary.
It is a plus to have an interest in learning other coding languages and familiarity with machine learning concepts.
