Description:

  • Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is seeking a Mid-Level Full-Stack Software Engineer for their PEX team in Brazil.
  • The PEX team focuses on improving the Partner experience by streamlining processes and enhancing satisfaction and engagement with Wellhub.
  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining services with a focus on performance, scalability, and resilience.
  • The role involves ensuring successful deliveries, promoting code quality standards, and supporting existing systems to meet product demands.
  • The engineer will participate in developing Desktop and Mobile applications, BFFs, and front-end services in a collaborative and agile environment.
  • The position emphasizes prioritizing wellbeing, creating a supportive work environment, and inspiring and empowering colleagues to care for their own wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in full-stack development and proficiency in ReactJS and one or more backend programming languages (Kotlin/Java/Ruby/Go/C++/etc.).
  • Experience with modern agile product development teams, monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese.
  • Experience in RESTful web services, computer science fundamentals, SQL technologies like PostgreSQL and MySQL, and a degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Additional skills like TypeScript, Node.js, micro frontends, large-scale web application architecture, modern web application development, and Cloud-based architectures (AWS) are a plus.
