Description:
Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is seeking a Mid-Level Full-Stack Software Engineer for their PEX team in Brazil.
The PEX team focuses on improving the Partner experience by streamlining processes and enhancing satisfaction and engagement with Wellhub.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining services with a focus on performance, scalability, and resilience.
The role involves ensuring successful deliveries, promoting code quality standards, and supporting existing systems to meet product demands.
The engineer will participate in developing Desktop and Mobile applications, BFFs, and front-end services in a collaborative and agile environment.
The position emphasizes prioritizing wellbeing, creating a supportive work environment, and inspiring and empowering colleagues to care for their own wellbeing.
Requirements:
Solid experience in full-stack development and proficiency in ReactJS and one or more backend programming languages (Kotlin/Java/Ruby/Go/C++/etc.).
Experience with modern agile product development teams, monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese.
Experience in RESTful web services, computer science fundamentals, SQL technologies like PostgreSQL and MySQL, and a degree in Computer Science or related field.
Additional skills like TypeScript, Node.js, micro frontends, large-scale web application architecture, modern web application development, and Cloud-based architectures (AWS) are a plus.
