Parity Technologies is seeking a Mobile App Developer to join their remote-first, global team.
The company focuses on building open-source technologies for developers and organizations within the Polkadot and Substrate ecosystem.
The role involves leading the development of a next-gen digital wallet that is intuitive, secure, and fast, serving as a gateway for users to interact with Polkadot and decentralized technologies.
Responsibilities include architecting and building a high-performance mobile and web wallet, bridging Web2 and Web3 experiences, innovating and optimizing for challenges like gas fee optimizations and cross-chain transactions, creating beautiful user experiences, staying updated with the latest blockchain technologies, and collaborating with a global team.
Requirements:
Candidates must be mobile/web developers with a passion for Web3, DeFi, or crypto applications.
Proficiency in building for both native (iOS/Android) and web platforms is required.
Experience with frontend technologies such as React Native, TypeScript, and React for web wallets is necessary.
Knowledge of mobile development using Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android is essential.
Familiarity with backend technologies including Node.js, GraphQL, Firebase, and Go is preferred.
Understanding of security measures like end-to-end encryption, Secure Enclave, and biometric authentication is important.
Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
Candidates should be excited to solve complex problems related to scalability, UX, and decentralized technologies.
Nice to have: Familiarity with wallet security, cryptography, blockchain interactions, and technologies like Substrate, Polkadot.js, Ethereum Web3.js, and Rust.
