Responsibilities include maintaining and contributing to mobile applications for iOS and Android, championing iOS-first thinking, designing high-quality UI interactions, bridging React Native with native modules, identifying and building features based on user requests, owning features from conception to launch, managing bugs and technical decisions, mentoring team members, and improving engineering standards.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of engineering experience building mobile apps in-house.
A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with React Native, React Hooks, and TypeScript is required.
Applicants should be passionate iPhone users with deep familiarity with native iOS UI/UX conventions.
Experience deploying apps to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store is necessary.
Demonstrated experience in implementing performant UI animations and interactions is required.
Proficiency in bridging React Native with native modules on iOS and/or Android is essential.
Candidates should have experience configuring CI/CD pipelines for mobile beta testing and production deployment.
Familiarity with React Navigation and writing integration tests for mobile applications is needed.
Experience with building accessible mobile applications is a plus.
Familiarity with state management tools such as React Query, React Hook Form, or Zustand is advantageous.
Experience with Firebase and Laravel is also a plus.
