Remote Mobile (React Native) and Web Developer (Remote)

Description:

• As a Mobile (React Native) and Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing innovative features and maintaining the company's web and mobile applications.
• You will design and develop highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems for both web and mobile applications, with a focus on React Native and XCode, dedicating 70% of your time to mobile and 30% to web development and maintenance activities.
• Your role includes deploying script automation via groovy/bash on Jenkins and handling platform-specific troubleshooting for mobile OS upgrade concerns, such as XCode and Android.
• You will collaborate with project team members and other stakeholders on web and mobile projects from planning to post-deployment support and monitoring.
• Writing extensible, scalable, reliable, well-structured, and efficient code while being mindful of performance requirements is a key responsibility.
• You will create, maintain, and run unit tests for both new and existing code, aiming to deliver well-tested code to QA.
• Refactoring legacy code to comply with both requirements and modern best practices will be part of your duties.
• You will develop and implement highly responsive UI components using React concepts and troubleshoot interface software while debugging application codes.
• Ensuring that all web pages and application user interfaces render correctly across all platforms and devices is essential.
• You will ensure all code is well commented, readable, and follows W3C standards.
• Providing estimates and creating technical documents as requested is expected.
• Keeping up to date on best practices and new technologies is crucial.
• You may also perform other web development responsibilities as requested from time to time.

Requirements:

• You must have at least 3 years of experience in Web and Mobile Development.
• Experience in Agile development processes is required, with the ability to accommodate changes and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• A technical knowledge of software design and software quality tools and practices is necessary.
• You should have a track record in creating and maintaining top-performing websites.
• In-depth experience of JavaScript and React concepts is essential.
• Proficiency in XHTML/HTML5, PHP, CSS/CSS3, SASS/LESS is required.
• You must be familiar with Git for version control.
• Experience with jQuery, AJAX, Velocity, DOM manipulation, and Gulp is necessary.
• Proficiency in React Native is also required.
