Description:

  • The Mobile Software Engineer will be part of a remote northeast digital team, focusing on enhancing the user experience of the Ollie platform.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing the Health Screenings experience in the React Native mobile application, expanding app integrations with health screening models and APIs, iterating on the integration with Storyblok CMS, and enhancing the design system for user delight.
  • The ideal candidate is a curious, collaborative, and open-minded React/React Native engineer who thrives in a small team environment and is eager to teach and learn from others.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have at least 1+ years of professional experience in building mobile applications using a modern cross-platform framework such as React Native, Flutter, or NativeScript, or experience in React with exposure to native mobile languages like C++, Java, Swift, or Kotlin.
  • A working knowledge of Javascript, mobile navigation, and managed build workflows (via Expo Application Systems or similar) is required.
  • Proficiency in optimizing network requests via RESTful APIs is necessary.
  • Candidates should have a keen eye for developing beautiful user experiences and an interest in building accessible applications for users of varying abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, and candidates are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet all listed qualifications.
