Description:

Octopus Energy is seeking a NetSuite Developer for a contract opportunity, working remotely in the UK.
The company is implementing NetSuite to streamline finance operations and improve efficiency as part of its growth strategy.
The role involves building technical customizations and supporting integrations in NetSuite, which is the core finance system for the group.
Responsibilities include creating detailed technical designs, developing customizations using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and other technologies, and coordinating with colleagues and the integration team.
The developer will document unit testing, track task progress, deploy customizations using CI/CD processes, and ensure timely and quality completion of work.
The position is pivotal for the ongoing success of NetSuite and maintaining appropriate systems controls.

Requirements:

Essential experience includes proficiency in NetSuite SuiteScript 1.0/2.1, Workflows, and SDF, as well as experience in integrating NetSuite using REST and SOAP.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of NetSuite technical-related experience and a drive to maximize Octopus’s NetSuite investment.
Useful experience includes non-NetSuite related technical experience with other information systems and integration middleware experience.
Preferred qualifications are a NetSuite Developer certification or similar, and a business or IT degree or equivalent.
